1. DEFINITIONS

For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions:

• “SCRAPDIG” refers to the ScrapDig platform, application, systems, operations, services, logistics infrastructure, and associated business operations.
• “Platform” refers to the SCRAPDIG mobile application, website, systems, software, interfaces, communication systems, and operational infrastructure.
• “Services” refers to all waste collection, pickup, logistics, recycling support, environmental dashboards, wallet systems, marketplace systems, support systems, and associated offerings.
• “User” refers to any person or entity using SCRAPDIG.
• “Dry Waste” refers to recyclable dry waste materials accepted by SCRAPDIG.
• “Wallet” refers to the in-app balance, credits, rewards, or transactional system operated by SCRAPDIG.
• “Environmental Dashboard” refers to sustainability-related metrics or contribution indicators displayed to users.
• “Content” refers to images, photos, videos, uploads, descriptions, communication materials, documents, or information uploaded or submitted by users.

2. ABOUT SCRAPDIG

SCRAPDIG is a private waste collection, recycling support, circular economy, and sustainability-focused service platform.

3. ELIGIBILITY

By using SCRAPDIG, You confirm that:

• You are legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
• You are using the platform lawfully.
• Information provided by You is accurate and genuine.
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

SCRAPDIG reserves the right to deny or restrict access to any user at its sole discretion.

4. USER ACCOUNTS

Users may be required to create accounts to access certain services. Users are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality, protecting login credentials, ensuring accuracy of information, and preventing unauthorized account access.

Users are solely responsible for activities occurring under their accounts.

SCRAPDIG reserves the right to suspend accounts, restrict access, investigate suspicious activity, permanently terminate accounts, or refuse service without prior notice where operationally necessary.

5. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

SCRAPDIG may collect:

• Mobile numbers, names, and pickup addresses.
• GPS/location information.
• Device information and app usage data.
• Uploaded waste images.
• Payment records, wallet details, and transaction history.
• Support communication records.
• Analytics data and technical diagnostic information.
• Operational activity logs.

SCRAPDIG may also collect technical and operational information required for service functionality, pickup coordination, logistics operations, fraud prevention, security monitoring, service improvement, and compliance purposes.

6. INFORMATION WE DO NOT INTENTIONALLY COLLECT

SCRAPDIG currently does not intentionally collect Aadhaar numbers, PAN card information, banking passwords, contact lists, biometric information, sensitive personal identity documents, political affiliations, or religious information, unless legally required or operationally necessary in the future.

7. LOCATION, CAMERA, MICROPHONE, AND DEVICE ACCESS

SCRAPDIG may request permissions including GPS/location access, camera access, gallery/media access, microphone permissions, and device-related permissions. These permissions may be used for:

• Pickup verification and operational coordination.
• Waste image uploads.
• Navigation assistance.
• Customer support and service improvement.
• Fraud prevention and technical functionality.

Users may disable permissions through device settings; however, certain services may become unavailable or function improperly.

8. ACCEPTED AND PROHIBITED MATERIALS

SCRAPDIG reserves the right to reject pickups, cancel requests, suspend accounts, permanently terminate accounts, or report activities to authorities where legally necessary.

9. PICKUP SERVICES

Pickup availability depends on operational feasibility, service regions, staff availability, waste quantity, weather conditions, safety conditions, traffic conditions, technical limitations, and local operational restrictions.

SCRAPDIG does not guarantee exact pickup timing, continuous availability, guaranteed service coverage, or guaranteed acceptance of all materials.

SCRAPDIG reserves the absolute right to reject, postpone, cancel, modify, or restrict any pickup request without obligation to provide justification.

10. MARKET PRICING AND VALUATION

Waste pricing may vary depending on market conditions, recycler demand, waste quality, contamination levels, quantity, logistics costs, regional pricing, operational feasibility, and internal valuation systems.

SCRAPDIG reserves the right to revise pricing, modify valuation methods, change reward structures, or adjust marketplace rates without prior notice. Users acknowledge that pricing is dynamic and may fluctuate.

11. WALLET, PAYMENTS, AND REFUNDS

SCRAPDIG may maintain wallet systems and payment functionality. Users may redeem eligible wallet balances to their bank account by providing Account Holder Name, Bank Account Number, IFSC Code, and any additional verification requested by ScrapDig.

Wallet balances may originate from waste pickups, promotional rewards, refunds, credits, or operational adjustments. Refund timelines may vary depending on payment gateways, banking systems, verification procedures, fraud checks, or technical processing delays.

SCRAPDIG reserves the right to delay transactions, freeze suspicious wallets, reject refund requests, investigate suspicious activity, or restrict wallet functionality.

12. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

SCRAPDIG may use third-party providers including payment gateways, hosting providers, cloud services, analytics systems, communication providers, and technical infrastructure providers.

SCRAPDIG is not responsible for third-party failures, banking delays, technical outages, cyberattacks beyond reasonable control, or external platform failures. Users are encouraged to review third-party policies separately.

13. USER CONTENT AND UPLOADS

Users may upload waste images, photos, descriptions, communication materials, verification documents, and support attachments. Users confirm that:

• They own or are authorized to upload such content.
• Uploaded content does not violate laws.
• Uploaded content does not infringe the rights of others.

Users grant SCRAPDIG a non-exclusive, royalty-free, operational license to use uploaded content for pickup verification, operational processing, internal analysis, service improvement, fraud prevention, sustainability reporting, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.

SCRAPDIG reserves the right to remove content, review content, retain operational evidence, or restrict abusive users.

14. DATA SHARING

SCRAPDIG does not intentionally sell personal user information. However, SCRAPDIG may share limited information with logistics personnel, payment processors, operational vendors, technical providers, cloud service providers, government authorities where legally required, law enforcement agencies where legally necessary, compliance authorities, or fraud investigation systems.

SCRAPDIG may use aggregated non-personal information for sustainability analysis, operational reporting, business insights, research, and environmental reporting.

15. DATA SECURITY

SCRAPDIG uses commercially reasonable security measures including authentication systems, restricted access controls, monitoring systems, cloud-based security infrastructure, internal operational safeguards, and encrypted communications where applicable.

However, no digital platform can guarantee absolute security, complete protection from cyberattacks, zero technical failures, or continuous uninterrupted availability. Users acknowledge that internet-based systems involve inherent risks.

16. DATA RETENTION

SCRAPDIG may retain information while accounts remain active, and for operational purposes, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, audit purposes, legal compliance, taxation and accounting obligations, security monitoring, or business continuity purposes. SCRAPDIG reserves the right to retain necessary records where reasonably required.

17. ACCOUNT DELETION REQUESTS

Users may request account deletion through official SCRAPDIG support channels. Upon successful verification of account ownership, SCRAPDIG may process deletion requests within approximately 5–7 business working days.

User profiles may be removed or anonymized from active platform visibility and user access to services discontinued. However, SCRAPDIG may retain certain operational records, transaction histories, financial records, fraud-prevention records, legal records, audit logs, security logs, or compliance-related information where retention is legally required, operationally necessary, compliance-related, security-related, or reasonably necessary for legitimate business purposes.

SCRAPDIG reserves the right to reject fraudulent or unverifiable deletion requests.

18. ENVIRONMENTAL DASHBOARD DISCLAIMER

Environmental metrics displayed within SCRAPDIG are informational estimates only. Such estimates may include waste recycled, sustainability contribution, landfill reduction, and environmental participation indicators.

SCRAPDIG does not guarantee scientific precision, regulatory certification, carbon credit verification, or government-certified environmental reporting. Environmental dashboards are informational only.

19. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

Users agree:

• To provide accurate information.
• Not to misuse the platform.
• Not to submit prohibited materials.
• Not to abuse staff.
• Not to interfere with operations.
• Not to engage in fraud.
• Not to manipulate systems.
• Not to violate laws.
• Not to upload illegal or harmful content.

Users are solely responsible for materials submitted, accuracy of information, legal compliance, pickup scheduling conduct, and uploaded content.

20. FRAUD PREVENTION AND INVESTIGATIONS

SCRAPDIG reserves the right to investigate suspicious activity, verify transactions, monitor misuse, retain evidence, restrict suspicious accounts, and cooperate with authorities where legally required.

Fraudulent behavior may result in account suspension, permanent bans, legal action, recovery proceedings, and reporting to authorities.

21. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, SCRAPDIG shall not be liable for indirect losses, consequential damages, pickup delays, service interruptions, data transmission failures, third-party outages, recycler pricing changes, technical failures, municipal restrictions, operational disruptions, user negligence, internet failures, or force majeure events.

SCRAPDIG services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. SCRAPDIG does not guarantee continuous uptime, guaranteed pickup availability, guaranteed pricing, exact environmental calculations, error-free operations, or uninterrupted access.

22. FORCE MAJEURE

SCRAPDIG shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, failures, losses, or damages caused by events beyond reasonable control including natural disasters, floods, fires, pandemics, internet outages, government restrictions, riots, strikes, fuel shortages, cyberattacks, technical infrastructure failures, transportation disruptions, power failures, war, or civil disturbances.

23. USER INDEMNIFICATION

Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SCRAPDIG, its founders, employees, contractors, logistics staff, recyclers, vendors, affiliates, operational partners, and associates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, disputes, penalties, legal expenses, or regulatory actions arising from misuse of the platform, violation of laws, prohibited waste submissions, harmful conduct, fraudulent activity, intellectual property violations, inaccurate information, breach of these Terms, or disputes caused by user behavior.

24. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All SCRAPDIG materials including logos, branding, designs, graphics, dashboards, systems, interfaces, content, operational structures, and features remain the intellectual property of SCRAPDIG unless otherwise stated.

Unauthorized reproduction, copying, resale, modification, or commercial exploitation is prohibited.

25. NO EMPLOYMENT OR PARTNERSHIP RELATIONSHIP

Use of SCRAPDIG does not create employment relationships, partnerships, joint ventures, franchise relationships, agency relationships, or official representation authority.

26. BUSINESS TRANSFERS

SCRAPDIG may undergo investment restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, ownership transfers, operational restructuring, or business expansion. User information may be transferred as part of legitimate business operations subject to applicable laws.

27. CROSS-BORDER OPERATIONS

SCRAPDIG may process information through systems or infrastructure located in different jurisdictions where legally permissible. Users acknowledge and consent to such operational processing where applicable.

28. APP STORE DISCLAIMER

Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and related marketplaces are not responsible for SCRAPDIG operations, platform disputes, user claims, transactions, refunds, operational liabilities, or service availability.

29. POLICY MODIFICATIONS

SCRAPDIG reserves the right to modify these Terms, introduce new policies, change services, update operational rules, revise pricing, modify security practices, or introduce new features.

Updated Terms may be published within the application or website. Continued usage after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

30. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Users agree to attempt good-faith resolution through SCRAPDIG support and internal resolution procedures before initiating formal legal proceedings. SCRAPDIG reserves the right to resolve disputes operationally where reasonably applicable.

31. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India.
